A quick move-in home is a brand-new home that's already under construction or fully finished — so instead of waiting eight to twelve months for a build, you can be unpacking in as little as 30 days.
Why builders love them (and why that's good for you)
Builders start these homes to keep crews working and communities growing. When one is finished and waiting, the builder is motivated — which is why quick move-in homes often carry the best incentives on the lot: closing cost help, rate offers, or flex cash.
What's already decided — and what isn't
The floor plan and finishes were chosen by our design team, using the same curated packages buyers pick from anyway. You lose almost nothing in choice and gain months of your life back. Every Alta quick move-in home still includes the fridge, washer, dryer, blinds, and garage door opener — the Alta Standard.
How fast is fast?
If the home is finished: as fast as your loan can close — often around 30 days. If it's nearly finished, your Home Advisor will give you an honest projected move-in month, and weekly updates until the keys are in your hand.
